2010-2014 Recipients

2010-2012 Recipient: UPMC Hamot Women’s Hospital

We are pleased to say that we have raised enough money for the naming of a NICU care station at UPMC Hamot Women’s Hospital in memory of Maeve and to create an outdoor garden space on the patio of the UPMC Hamot Women’s Hospital! We think that both of these spaces, the NICU room and the Maeve Memorial Garden, are reflective of Maeve’s brief time here. She spent her 20 days in a NICU room, and during our time at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh we used their outdoor garden space when Maeve’s big sister Moira came to visit. We appreciated both spaces and, again, feel these projects are meaningful ways to honor and remember her time here.

2014 Recipient: Forgotten Voices

In 2014, in continuing to seek ways to help children both locally and globally, Maeve Gives chose Forgotten Voices as their recipient. Forgotten Voices is a wonderful group working to help orphans in Africa through the local church. Check out their awesome work at their website!

Her life on this earth was so brief. Yet she moved people. She inspired people to pray, to hope, to love, and hopefully to live fuller lives.
